Faculty

The Fellowship Opportunities in Science, Technology, and Engineering Research (FOSTER) is an opportunity for faculty members at US institutions to conduct research at one of the top public laboratories or leading private companies in India. Faculty will have the opportunity to conduct research at one of the top national laboratories, federal research centers, academic research institutes, or private R&D laboratories in India.

Eligibility

• U.S. citizenship
• Open to science, technology, engineering and medical disciplines
• Full-time researcher or teaching faculty at a regionally accredited institution of higher education

Awards

• Application deadline January 15
• 3-12 month research-based fellowship
• Participants will receive stipend, housing allowance, and roundtrip airfare
• Stipend is based on current salary as reported on certification of salary by home

Postgraduate Researcher

The Postgraduate Fellowship is limited to the top graduates in a broad array of science and engineering disciplines. You’ll have the opportunity to conduct research at one of the top national laboratories, federal research centers, academic research institutes, or private R&D laboratories in India.

Eligibility

• U.S. citizenship
• Open to science, technology, engineering and medical disciplines
• Postgraduate, within three years of graduation, employed in research position

Awards

• Application deadline January 15
• 3-12 month research-based fellowship
• Participants will receive stipend, housing allowance, and roundtrip airfare
• • Monthly stipend of Rs25,000 – 30,000/mnth
